How do I connect/disconnect my charging cable?

Connecting and disconnecting your charging cable will work slightly differently depending on the car you are driving. Please ask for specific instructions at the rental desk. However, these are the general steps you should follow:

1. Unlock the car.

2. Make sure the key is in close range to the car.

3. The charge port may be opened by:

a. Pressing on the charge port door.

b. Holding the rear trunk/boot button for 1 -2 seconds.

c. Ask for directions at the rental desk or check the manual for your specific car make and model.

4. Remove waterproof blanking plugs.

5. Make sure any excess water is removed.

6. Plug in the cable.

After you have finished charging your Electric Vehicle, please follow the steps below:

1. Unlock the car.

2. Make sure the key is in close range to the car.

3. If there is a button for releasing the charger plug (e.g., Polestars have this), press the release button.

4. Remove charger plug.

5. Refit the waterproof blanking.

6. Close the charger port door.
